The heart of the drama is the conflict. In the genre there
are normally realistic struggles that the audience can relate to, which enables
the audience to be emotionally attached to the characters. The films are
structured climaxes and anti-climaxes to keep tension on going.
Drama films can also be interlaced with other genres such as
tragedy and comedy, which changes the overall representation of the film and
the characters.
