Today we decided that we need a few more 'filler' shots in order to have enough footage to complete our film. From initially editing our film and getting all of the footage in place using final cut express, we found that we had gaps that needed to be filled. For example the part where Emily wakes up from a one night stand cannot be followed by her finding out she is pregnant as we need to show time has passed.

We first decided to go up onto the school field and film there because the weather was perfect for a gloomy scene. The part of the trailer in which we would need this scene is after she has found out that she is pregnant, therefore we want to emphasise the fact that the character doesn't know what to do. We decided to try something new and we filmed the character shaking her head about, this would be edited faster to look like she is going insane and doesn't know what to do. We then filmed some shots on the stairs of the two characters messing around showing they have a good friendship and are always laughing, displaying happiness. We thought that we could use this shot in between the one night stand and Emily finding out she is pregnant. The last part we filmed was Emily pregnant as we needed this shot for the end of the film to show the audience that she keeps the baby. In terms of make up and costume we made sure Emily looked exhausted by her not wearing any makeup. This will show the audience that she alone, tired and her life has changed forever.
